Summary

In this warmhearted romantic comedy, a mistaken identity leads to a blossoming romance between two boys。

Aoki has a crush on Hashimoto, the girl in the seat next to him in class。 But he despairs when he borrows her eraser and sees she’s written the name of another boy—Ida—on it。 To make matters more confusing, Ida sees Aoki holding that very eraser and thinks Aoki has a crush on him!

Aoki has a crush on Ida, a boy in his class。 Ida has learned from Akkun the story behind Hashimoto’s eraser—that Aoki told Ida he liked him to protect Hashimoto’s secret crush。 The only trouble is that Aoki really does like Ida, so now Aoki has to confess his love to Ida all over again!

Did I just inhale volumes 2 and 3 in one night with my heart bursting at the seams and the need to scream so evident? YES。 This series is starting to become the only sunshine in my very busy and stressful past few days。 As much as I don’t want it to end so quickly, I can’t help but turn page after page because of how addictive this adorable and hilarious story is。 😭

*3。5aoki and ida r so cute 😭 but a manga will be so good then boom! racist bit

I received a copy of this manga from NetGalley in exchange for a honest review。 I love this series! I already own the first two volumes both personally and in my work library。Ida learns to full eraser story。 Aoki is still a bit hung up over Ida and Hashimoto is still pining after Aida。 Things just get worse when the class takes a school trip to a ski resort, which has a serious training regime for skiing。 Of course Ida and Aida end up in the top class, class A, while Aoki and Hashimoto end up in I received a copy of this manga from NetGalley in exchange for a honest review。 I love this series! The art continues to be fantastic。 The hilarious faces this author draws to represent over the top emotions in certain situations still delights me and gives me a good chuckle。 The comedy is still at play, but it FINALLY seems like Aoki and Ida are getting somewhere and Hashimoto gets brave enough to act upon her feelings。Conclusion?I absolutely love this series! 。。。more

Thank you, VIZ Media, for allowing me to read My Love Mix-Up!, Vol。 2 early! This story keeps getting better and better! When does the fourth volume come out again? I will probably need to reread the first three manga multiple times so that I can bear the wait。

This volume continues with this great shojo story。 Again it has cliche and tropes that are common to this genre, but it is done in such an entertaining way。 The characters are endearing, and I love all of their interaction。 As usual, the art is simple and nice that matches up with the story。 Overall series continues to entertain and make me happy。

I couldn't help comparing this to Blue Flag and it just didn't measure up。 It was an ok read but not cute enough, not funny enough and not interesting enough。 I found the illustrations looked somewhat unfinished。 The whole business with the school ski trip at the start felt out of sync with the rest of the book。I received this arc from netgalley in exchange for my honest review。 I couldn't help comparing this to Blue Flag and it just didn't measure up。 It was an ok read but not cute enough, not funny enough and not interesting enough。 I found the illustrations looked somewhat unfinished。 The whole business with the school ski trip at the start felt out of sync with the rest of the book。I received this arc from netgalley in exchange for my honest review。 。。。more

I received an eARC of this title through NetGalley in return for an honest review。 I'm not sure what more I can say about this manga series that I have not already said。 It is a sweet LGBTQUI+ themed manga that, in my opinion, keeps getting better。 It really touches on the meaning of friendships and relationships in respect to how one person can see something one way and another can see it a completely different。 One moment could mean so much to a person without the other really knowing or under I received an eARC of this title through NetGalley in return for an honest review。 I'm not sure what more I can say about this manga series that I have not already said。 It is a sweet LGBTQUI+ themed manga that, in my opinion, keeps getting better。 It really touches on the meaning of friendships and relationships in respect to how one person can see something one way and another can see it a completely different。 One moment could mean so much to a person without the other really knowing or understanding。 Again, filled with moments of laughter and ooooooo's and awwwww's, this manga will give you all the feels。 。。。more

Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to read a digital copy of this book in exchange for a review。 All opinions are my own。Another fun installment to this series。 We see some progress between the couples, though it is fraught with misunderstandings。

Thanks to NetGalley and VIZ for an advanced digital copy to read and review。It’s school trip time and Aoki, Hashimoto, Ida, and Aida end up in Hokkaido。 It’s not as pleasant as you might think。 It turns out to be skiing boot camp hell! Especially for Aoki and Hashimoto, who are hopeless at skiing。There’s always something in My Love Mix-Up that makes me laugh。 There are plenty of those instances in this volume, but I wish there were a few more sweet moments between Aoki and Ida。 It feels like the Thanks to NetGalley and VIZ for an advanced digital copy to read and review。It’s school trip time and Aoki, Hashimoto, Ida, and Aida end up in Hokkaido。 It’s not as pleasant as you might think。 It turns out to be skiing boot camp hell! My Love Mix-Up! Vol。 3by Wataru Hinekure, Aruko4/5 starsThis is about the ski trip, right? Now, the more I think about it。。 the live version is only focused on one setting, which is the school。 So, it's cool in the manga we can see different situation for the characters。 So glad that Ida and Aoki has resolved their second misunderstanding。 My Love Mix-Up! *I received an eARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review。 4/5The third volume of My Love Mix-Up was equally as strange as the first two, if not more so。 I love that there’s no bounds of reality sometimes。 Like the school trip shenanigans and the main character turning into goo and no-one caring。 The actually drama is pretty good though。 I like that deeper feelings are starting to develop yet the tone is still being kept light。 It’s easy and fun to read still, and hopefully won’t become *I received an eARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review。 4/5The third volume of My Love Mix-Up was equally as strange as the first two, if not more so。 I love that there’s no bounds of reality sometimes。 Like the school trip shenanigans and the main character turning into goo and no-one caring。 The actually drama is pretty good though。 I like that deeper feelings are starting to develop yet the tone is still being kept light。 It’s easy and fun to read still, and hopefully won’t become one of those heavy-all-the-time mangas that make me unnecessarily cry all the time。 There’s a lot of talking around everyone’s feelings, but thankfully there’s actually development later on in this volume。 I’m also glad there is more character growth for the side characters too。There’s not much else to say though。 As usual the art is great, pacing of events is strange but easy to follow。 I’m interested to see what developments there’ll be in the next volume。 。。。more
